  1. My plan was first of all to let it use datatypes for getting the colors...

  3. Then to make notify on Env:Sys/WBPattern.Prefs, so Colorado could be
  4. notifyied about the new colormap, and to disable remapping for the new
  5. background.

  7. But I also wanted to do a Pattern pref for each screen depth, the Pattern
  8. pref should then contain WB/Scr/Wind. pattern/picture, which of them should
  9. be remapped, and from which it should take the palette, or ofcause "other
  10. palette",Then you could choose to have some awesome pictures in 256 colors,
  11. and just a lousy pattern in 4 colors...

  14. you have questions about how I would have done it or anything else...
